IdjitCast Omnibus Episode, Season One, Episodes 1-5

Welcome to the IdjitCast!

It is time for John Pavlich to guide Paul Maki, Darcy, Yvette, and David Bushman through the series “Supernatural!” We have made an Omnibus episode for the first five episodes of “Supernatural” in order to kick off IdjitCast without taking too much time reviewing episodes from the last incarnation of the podcast.

We discuss: Pilot, Wendigo, Dead in the Water, Phantom Traveler, and Bloody Mary. What will the Newbies think? Hint: there is one episode that ranked as low as an average of 4.2 out of 10, is it the episode you think it is?

Regular recordings commence now! Next session will record episodes for “Skin” and “Hook Man.”

We each do a top 5 favorite things of the season, we discuss some disappointments and what we hope to see in season 3. We also talk about what we’ve been watching. Em is once again grieving over Mad Men and Sue watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes while camping and may or may not have looked for apes up in the trees after. Who am I kidding? Of course I looked for apes in the trees! We also announce our contest winners and apologize that the podcast announcing the deadline to get contest entries and season 2 top 5’s in posted just a few hours before the deadline we set.

We are pleased to introduce another of our hosts! I have been highly enjoying listening to her over the past year or so, and I know you will too. It’s Yvette!

Listeners to our sister podcast on QuadZ, “Investigating Mars” will need no introduction. She was a fresh newbie going into Veronica Mars, as well as a podcast newbie. I had the pleasure of guesting on several episodes of “Investigating Mars” during their run. Now Yvette is an Introcast veteran with one completed series under her belt.

IdjitCast will be rebooting with an Omnibus Episode which will cover the 5 episodes from the old series. Feedback time will be limited as we cover five episodes in a single recording session, but please feel free to send something in!
