Sue Watches Angel #32: “Dead End” (and WWBW)

angel_2x18We start out this episode with What We’ve Been Watching, mostly finishing up discussions we had last time- getting into The Jinx and Horns a little more, now that we’ve both seen them (we each watched and discussed one or two other things). Then we discuss the Lindsay-sentric Angel episode “Dead End” Hold on… Lindsay- centric??!!

…crickets…

Well, the important thing is, it’s done. And it really wasn’t that bad.

Sue Watches Buffy #31 Tough Love

519_ToughLoveIn this episode, Em and Sue discuss the things we’ve been watching other then Bates. Among a few other things: Em watched most of The Fall and Horns, and Sue watched The Jinx. Then we move on to Buffy. Tough Love proved to include Sue in that, and that’s all I’ll say on the subject.

IdjitCast Season Two Episode Eleven “Playthings”

A hidden presence in an old mansion is killing off those who would move the owners from the place. Posing as no-really-we’re-just-brothers-gay-panic antiquers, Sam & Dean investigate the creepy bellhop, the creepy dolls, and the not creepy neglected old woman in the attic.

Nutty joins us, as we come up with the following:

She ain’t making any soap, that’s good.

At least we didn’t have to watch that little girl devour he own face.

These little poltergeists are rolling back prices!

Left to his own devices, Dean would have been pokin’ the old lady.

Yes Mother: Bates Motel S3 E5 “The Deal”

01b7a6d35f7ce3e5b767750bbf791a3f6582bc8b5fIn this episode of Yes Mother, Emily and Sue discuss the amazing, mid-season episode that is The Deal. In The Deal, we find Norma finally having the people of White Pine Bay by the short hairs! So grab Romero, and let the negotiations begin! Oh also- Dylan and Norman really think that Norma needs to let Caleb have a chance to say he is sorry for incestual rape. How did that go boys? Right. Good plans all around. Also we get an epic Chick sighting. White Pine Bay rules!

In the podcast episode, Em and Sue discuss the finer points through the feedback, then go into an episode discussion. At the end, we have an extra long spoiler section in which we discuss the Q & A Carlton Cuse did with the fans. It’s in the spoiler section because he drops a few hints on what may be coming, so only the most sensitive to spoilers really need stay away. At the very end, you get a taste of what it’s like recording a podcast during spring break.

IdjitCast TangentCast 01

Tangent fans, rejoice!

Tangent haters, you might skip this one.

This mini has about 1% connection to “Supernatural,” it is almost all tangent, with Fox and Nutty on assist, and we chat on:

Cats!

Weather!

Tree-trimming equipment!

Watch later this week for a full episode that has much more actual “Supernatural” content, as Nutty joins us to discuss “Playthings!”

IdjitCast Season Two Episode Ten “Hunted”

Someone is killing people “like Sam.” It turns out that according to John Winchester’s last whispered secret, Dean needs to watch Sam closely and if it becomes too late, kill him. Dean wants to stay put, out of harm’s way, but Sam wants to find the others like him, so he splits off on his own. Good ol’ no-gray-areas Gordon turns out to be the killer, and he has Sam in his sights. Can a vision from a new third party save Sam from a noisy and bloody death? Find out on this week’s episode.

No guest this week, and we still manage to reveal…

Familiar looking… Canadian looking.

As a mother you have to let your child grow, and develop… and hunt demons… and kill things.

We may be talking about getting drunk at 10:00 in the morning, but we won’t actually get there until 11 or 12.

Sue Watches Buffy (and Angel!) AND What We’ve Been Watching #30: Intervention and Disharmony

015dc80d93bb50e71a123cb545a2df10f60d38c590In this episode, Em and Sue discuss what we’ve been watching first, then move on to Buffy, then move on to Angel.

All I’ve got time for at the moment– but these were some really fun episodes to talk about!  You’ll just have to listen.

Yes Mother: Bates Motel S3E4: “Unbreakable”

013df12530322f01d079d4e458bd63fd65aa68a11fIn the 4th episode of this season’s Bates Motel, frankly- we seem to learn a little more about some characters then we wished to know. Too much about Norman’s quest to make his girlfriend jealous -and we don’t mean Emma- (and while we’re at it: too much about his horrible sandwich making habits!). Too much about Bob Paris and his regard of hookers, and TOO MUCH about Caleb’s feelings about his sister! Despite the over sharing- it was an enjoyable episode (and one Emily didn’t realize was so funny until she recorded a podcast about it with her sister).

Join Em and Sue as we laugh our way through breaking this unbreakable episode down! (While I’m at it: why oh why did Caleb prove to be unbreakable??? He’s alive- dammit!)
