I don’t know about you, but I love funny/sarcastic and just plain profound quotes from my favorite TV shows. The Vampire Diaries has some great ones thanks to the dueling brothers Damon and Stefan. Damon plays the perfect sarcastic, dark and teasingly evil bad guy to Stefan’s nearly Superman pure goodness.
Here’s just a few of my faves:
Damon (to Stefan): It’s Founder’s Day. I’m here to eat cotton candy and steal your girl. (“Founder’s Day”)
Damon: I do believe in killing the messenger. Know why? It sends a message. (“Isobel”)
Elena: I’m not gonna be one of those pathetic girls whose world stops just because of some guy. (“You’re Undead to Me”) [This one cracked me up, especially in light of Buffy, Twilight, and other tween vampire novels]
Damon: We’re a team. We could travel the world together. We could try out for The Amazing Race! (“The Turning Point”)

Damon does get some great lines.
I don’t get what you mean by mentioning Buffy in the same breath as Twilight regarding Elena’s line however. Buffy was by no means a “pathetic girl” whose life stopped because of a boy.
Hehe I should have explained. Elena falls more in the Bella side of that line. The line should be Buffy’s not Elena’s.
My favorite is
Damon: *reads Twilight*
Caroline: How come you don’t sparkle in the sun?
Damon: Because i live in the real world where vampires turn to dust if they come in the sun.

I think Damon’s quote is actually:
Damon: Because I live in the real world where vampires burn in the sun.
Then Caroline says something along the lines of:
Caroline: But you walk in the sun.
Damon: I have a ring sweetie! 🙂
It’s something along those lines.
But Damon definitely says burn in the sun! 🙂 Hope that helps, Sammie!!!! 🙂
It’s hard to tell! Depends on how long Stefan’s going to be gone.

NAWWWW, one of the sweetest moments ever!!!! 🙂 Seriously, I absolutely love Damon and Elena, I wonder if they will ever get together in the series??? What are your thoughts about Damon and Elena? Or Stefan and Elena?
I’m sure she’ll end up with Stefan,she can’t be with Damon ’cause he’s a killer and stuff like that… But in my opinion,she should end up with Damon..I know i would…:)
