Season 2 of Rizzoli & Isles taught us the cardinal truth of procedurals – a really good bad guy never really leaves. He or she just returns to pull a little Hannibal Lecter action and “advise” our heroes. So it wasn’t surprising to see Charles Holyt, evil psychopathic serial killer, return and wreck a little havoc from his death bed (oh the guy has cancer, too bad). Of course, the inevitable show down leaves it’s mark(s) on our heroes, but they eventually pull through.
It got me thinking about those folks you just can’t seem to shake from your life. There’s several of them that I’ve come across where, try as you might, you can’t entirely get them out of your rear view mirror. Sadly, with the internet, those people are more persistent than ever. Of course, unlike Jane, my bad pennies aren’t trying to kill me. I guess there is advantages to not living in a TV reality.
